MIcromania trade show, David Ghetta, My Body Coach for Wii

Up at 8h15 after sleeping like a baby, that's nice for a change, it is true happiness to feel on such great form, I feel like a new coach!

It's just as well, today I am going to the Micromania (video games) trade show for the promotion of the Wii My Body Coach game.

Fresh lemon juice + room temperature water + green tea and Stevia to alkanise my body + an all fruit breakfast: 5 fresh almonds + 1 banana + a few strawberries

And I'm off to take an exercise class, a new technique I am testing and I walk there of course to get warmed up!
20 minutes fast walk and 1 hour joints' gym... I was rather doubtful at first, I leave pumped up and with "happy" joints... a really nice completely unusual class.

Lunch: raw bread and hummus + 2 teff flour crackers and hummus (I like it :) + a little bit of rabbit in tomato sauce and 4 mandarines + 3 small chocolates for desert.

20 minutes accumulated walk

No snack, I am at the Micromania Game Show promoting the video game. Some Boot.Campers saw the announcement on my FaceBook fan page and on the LeBootCamp Weightloss forum and joined me on the stand where BigBen, the manufacturer of the game, are exhibiting... then I take to the stage on the "grand podium" to address about a hundred frenzied young gamers :)

Finally, a nice chat with David Guetta who is spinning in LA for new years eve...

Dinner at La Boule Rouge: plenty of little mezze style plates with mostly healthy choices with a lot of vegetables (in fact, now that I think about it, there are only veggies, I let myself go with the quantities) followed by half a gilthead bream, I can't finish, I won't force myself...  cleanse my palet with 1/4 fresh pineapple

1 hour walk for digestion but that isn't enough... I am not used to eat much in the evening... If I overindulge it's usually at lunch time... so at 4am I pay the price for my excesses and wake up not to go back to sleep... that will teach me :)

Marathon days, Direct8 program recording

Those were marathon days I will try and describe in a few words... a large number of  TV, radio and magazine interviews... several great encounters.... a lot of interest for my new book "Secrets de Coach" and the My Body Coach game for Wii about to launch.

Superb Direct8 TV show, a grape tasting with Veronique (of Veronique et Davina, the French fitness pioneering duo of the 80's) ... and many more lovely meets

Shooting the My Body Coach advert, more filming and interviews...

A Sunday's rest... nothing much other than 45 minutes walk on an empty stomach before lunch and 40 minutes abdominal passive muscle toning :)

Le Petit Nicolas movie, just great!!

A VERY active Monday: we shoot the My Body Coach avert for Wii

Technicians all around me... tension on the set.... 3 hours just to say a sentence of fewer than 10 words.

Breakfast: 4 slices apricot Essene (ie. raw) bread and abundant green tea.

Lunch: mixed salad, hummus, babaganush, asparagus, spinach salad, clementines and a few Quernons

This afternoon it's a 2 hour shoot for a new program.

No snack, time flies

6 pm: interview with the ELLE.fr (you can read the article in French here)

Diner: a bowl of home made soup, 6 sushis (I removed some rice as they were really thick) and a few grapes

40 minutes abdominal passive muscle toning.

Boot.Meeting in ANGERS (France) - Quernons and marvelous energy coaching

What a day... a fair amount of traveling but the results match expectations.

I meet the Angevin Boot.Campers with great excitement! They are fewer than anticipated, the flu and various other bugs have struck down even some of the most enthusiastic.

Breakfast in the train: 1 raw bar + 1 banana and a green tea (yes the SNCF does serve green tea)

We join up with Annie, Angelique and Marianne who have organized the day masterfully. I arrive with Cricri who travelled from Paris with me... we dash to the other side of the square to meet up with Sarah, a gorgeous Boot.Camper whom after just one month is already 3kg lighter. Congratulations!

30 minutes walk on an empty stomach before a classic LeBootCamp lunch at the Auberge Du Logis inside the chateau: smoked salmon, green salad, fouasse (a small flat bread that is sliced filled, a bit like pita), little white beans... and for pudding, no cakes, no but a fruit salad instead.

During the meal, Marianne shows us pictures of herself and her husband before and after LeBootCamp... WOW, IMPRESSIVE!!! LeBootCamp works very well on men, there was never any doubt and here we have a perfect photographic proof (and later on in the flesh).
After restoring ourselves we go off for a 2 hour treasure hunt around Angers' old town: 60 questions, places to find, pictures to recognise... therefore 2 hours of walk!

On the way, we nibble a few Quernons, a local speciality (very very nice: made of nougatine covered in slate colored chocolate)

For snacks, we sample some of Marianne's raw creations: dried banana, dried mango, almonds... and green tea (ok, ok, I own up) and a few Quernons the very toughtfull Marianne offered us.

Then it is time for the presentation and book signing at Angers' English-speaking library. I am pleasantly surprised at the number of people who turn up despite the rain and it being Sunday evening! The discussion and the Q&A are interesting and stimulating. I finish off with the "Secrets de Coach" book signing.

I skip the champagne and fruit juices but enjoy a few of Marianne's delicious canapes.

Cricri and I run to to the station by fear of missing our train back to the capital. As a result we are 20 minutes early and have plenty of time to settle in to our seats.

30 minutes very fast (jogging) walk accumulated in addition throughout the day

In the train, we can't resist and eat a few more tempting Quernons :)

Dinner: a home made soup + 2 clementines

100 brazilian moves

Off to bed! (very late)

Paris under grey sky, sidestepping bugs and viruses :)

I get up after a restless night, hello jet lag, I restore myself with some green tea, fresh lemon juice in room temperature water, more tea and 30 minutes walk on an empty stomach.

Only fruit for breakfast, to boost my immune system with Vitamins straight from nature: fresh almonds, 1 banana and some strawberries.

30 minutes walk on the phone with Direct8 to prepare for next Wednesday's show

100 floor abs
20 press ups
30 lunges

Lunch: grilled turkey breast + Puy lentils a few grapes and a clementine.

1h30 accumulated walk

Snack: I taste 3 sugar free cookies (for diabetics) and I must admit that they taste rather nice.

I prepare for the SUD RADIO 8 pm radio program...

20 45 degree press ups on the kitchen counter

Light dinner because of the jet lag: home made soup (yummy) + 1 clementine.

Next stop, Paris... CHERIE FM broadcast

That's it, after 5 dream days spent in NYC... it is time to get back on track... that of my book and Wii My Body Coach launch.

Today's meals are rather unusual because of this day's frantic racing around.

Breakfast: 3 croissants and an orange juice, yes I know, that is not classic LeBootCamp style!

2 hours accumulated walk

Lunch: 1 wild mushroom soup
Dinner: at the airport, a panini, just the filling, I ditched the bread + a handful chips with ketchup

I will make up for it tomorrow (no guilt, absolutely never! :)

In the airplane: 200 buttock squeezes + 100 nutcrackers

Middle of the night meal on board: little couscous salad with shrimps + chicken and vegetables (I systematically turn down the bread offered, I am sitting down for a while, remember) + yogurt and little brownie (really not a balanced meal, I have to speak to AIR FRANCE and make a few suggestions)

Upon arrival, after a rather uncomfortable flight (a lot of turbulence), breakfast: 1 cup tea with stevia + 1 brioche and another plain yogurt... I think I have really filled up on dairy now! I pass on their sugar loaded orange juice made of concentrate.

At lunchtime I am too jet lagged to eat anything. I just sip a home made fruit juice and nibble a banana.
After a little nap, I head for the CHERIE FM radio studios to record a series that will broadcast on Friday 23rd from 6am to 9am. Another great experience.

Green tea dinner: 1 slice of bread with hummus + 1 piece of roast chicken with mixed vegetables + a few grapes

Off to bed coachie!

New York! New York!

Here we are in the famous Big Apple...

Despite a horrendous weather forecast, we braved the cold (very windy avenues:)... on the agenda, over 3-4 hours walk every day... easy, the distances to cover are usually rather big, but walkable.

SATURDAY

No breakfast because of the 9 am landing. By the time we reach our hotel, settle in and catch up with some sleep, it is long past breakfast!

3 hours walk
100 floor abs
Lunch in a Mexican restaurant: guacamole mixed at the table, garlic shrimps and corn crisps

1 hour walk

Dinner Chez Gabriel with Sandie and Gary... and more walking

SUNDAY:

Again a great deal of walking... we attempt a visit to the Guggenheim,

we actually manage to get in, but are deterred by a 3rd queue, never mind lets set off and face the weather.

We soon find solace with a bit of shopping. I do very well at Nanette Lepore's, the New York designer who is on the up... and step out with a superb alpaga handbag covered in little pompoms... wow... thank you my darling for this gorgeous gift!
(on the picture with Elyse, a really great girl from my NY PR team) .

After a dream week-end, I prepare for a 3 day interview marathon... at least 4 a day, always accompanied by my super and very private body guard as well as a member of my American PR team (5 people are working on the subject, that is efficient:)

After 5 exciting days it is time to pack up and head for the next stop on our tour, another very exciting city, Paris here I come!
I will be launching my book "Secrets de Coach" as well as the Wii My Body Coach.

En route for NEW YORK

first for a lover's week-end with hubby followed by a three day road show with my American publicist. She has been extremely active! On the agenda: interviews with 12 of the most biggest American magazines, of course they will all be very familiar to you. To make sure we "knock'em dead" we rehearse on Sunday evening... I feel like a thespian...

I am packing... for a change, instead of piling everything in "just in case" like I usually do, I prepare whole outfits (thank you, Selina) and only take with me outfits that are complete, accessories and all... so no need to pack the canary yellow cardi "just in case"

I have received my copy of "Secrets de Coach" my new book, and I am impressed with what the publisher did. It is really an outstanding piece of work... I hope that it will be well received by the press and more importantly by the coot.campers in spirit.

Night flight... the "red eye" flight... but I am looking forward to the week-end, theater, walks, art and a dinner planned with Super Gary and Sandie the Nu Skin founder.

Week-end at Pirate Cove

I spend the week end at Gary Scott's, my super Everest guide, along with Sandie, the founder of Nu Skin, now listed on the NY stock exchange and worth 1 billion dollars. Not bad for a mother of 2 who started up in her kitchen at the age of 28!

Pirate Cove, is one of their "homes", an indescribable extravagant fantasy of a residence... a kind of private Pirates of the Caribbean mansion meets Hollywood, meets Peter Pan, meets Errol Flynn... over 20 "bedrooms" each with its own 150 square meter
kitchen ... slides, pirate ships, skeletons... a child's dream come real... you can find videos of Pirate Cove on YouTube... but as I like to say, you need to see it to believe it! More images here

30 friends met there, a really happy week end!

On the program: mountain biking, swimming, resting and many many great times...

Back to LA for interviews and Black Party

After a good night sleep I head for the airport...

1 hour walk all together and nothing else, I am going from taxi, to taxi and from interview, to interview in the hotel, then from hairdresser to make up and then it's time for the party :)

Breakfast: home made fruit juice for a good start to the day, then in the airplane, I can's resist the little brioche, cf. photo :)

I spend the flight accompanied by Ruben Fleischer the director of Zombieland a "zombiesque" comedy

Lunch at Champagne on Santa Monica Boulevard. The portions are reasonable and the mini desert are ideal for some light pleasure!
I have: a tomato and basil soup + a
large chunk of baguette bread and for pudding with my tea, a coconut macaroon and a mini pudding

Snack during hair and makeup: guacamole and chips softened in the guacamole because my jaw is still killing me :)

Soiree: many great pictures for you, I was with some really delightful people, tall and small... everyone in black. I am wearing black and roll couture, a style I am really considering adopting!

I don't really pick at anything other than some mi-cui tuna, so once back in my room I wolf down 2 packet of crisps (400 calories, if you really have to know ;)

Most of the pictures of this party can be found on my FaceBook Fan Page. On these ones I am with DJ Mbenga from the Lakers, Abel Xavier from Galaxy and super Regis from AG Rock of course.

Undefeated

Saturday:

Tea + lemon juice upon rising + a Morning Green Boost (cucumber, carrot, apple) to fight my cold :)
This week-end I will mainly be kicking back and waging a battle against the germs that are attacking my somewhat tired mind and body from the last few weeks... I will win that is for sure.

I pursue with carrot/apple juice for breakfast followed by a lemon juice and some tea.

No sport all day, I let my body recuperate :)
Home lunch: caramelised onions/wild and brown rice + carnitas and I try out a new Peruvian potato... it actually looks like a turnip tastes moldy... yuck, I won't have that again (at least, I tried it)

20 minutes walk and that's it

Snack: a few pistachios + succulent prunes and a rooibos tea

Dinner: old fashioned tomato's salad with raw onion crackers, some fruit salad and off to bed!

Meeting with a FaceBook fan in SF + a nearly totally restful week-end

Pleasant Friday spent in SF with Anissa hunting for the perfect outfit... breakfast was limited because of back to back meetings all morning and I had no time to sit down for a proper breakfast before the big meeting...
30 minutes walk on killer heels
Lunch at La Rotonde... yum... they call this a "sandwich"... a lobster sandwich... to call this a sandwich is a bit reducing... we have an excellent lunch with a view on Union Square.

Meeting with Julien, a FaceBook fan... on the search for his next career is doing some around the world traveling before deciding. Very enjoyable meet!

No snack...

30 minutes walk
Surprise dinner for Cathy's birthday! a few sushis, some pita bread with hummus and a slice of apple pie for desert... all accompanied by water only for the coach who is feeling a nasty cold coming on and is ready for a fight!

1h (at least!) dancing wildly :)

On an empty stomach before lunch: 1 jour cycling + 20 minutes walk
